About EQIP

EQIP Evidence-based and Quality Information for Psychologists.

EQIP is a website developed for APS members to support their professional practice and direct client work, and provides evidence-based content aimed at guiding assessment and intervention across a wide range of areas of psychological practice and settings in which APS psychologists work.

EQIP provides an easy to navigate, search-driven website - a “one-stop shop” for psychologists with the following key features:

  • evidence-based, trustworthy, and up-to-date information and guidance
  • APS member feedback options
  • Personalised ‘Favourites’ bookmarking option
  • Links to relevant content on the APS website and external sites.

In developing this website, topics considered essential for best practice in psychology or frequently requested by members have been prioritised and are being continually developed and added to EQIP.

All content on EQIP undergoes a comprehensive and systematic process of research and review by experts in the specific area of psychological practice. An automatic content management function ensures that resources on EQIP are subject to regular review and remain current.
